About
Our Surveillance Services & Solutions
CCTV Design should be driven by purpose. Many customers don’t yet know what they want to achieve with their installations. We implement completely scalable solutions from 4 cameras to thousands for many industries and applications. Have a discussion with us today to see what options are available to you.
Residential
Systems for small complexes or single homes will range from 4 to 16 devices. Options are broad, from wireless devices, IP cameras and even digital-coax using legacy cables. Smaller systems (coax) can be installed by most security installers and even adventurous home-owners (wifi). Small IP systems already require experience and training.
Logistics / Enterprise
Business CCTV systems for logistics, industrial and coporate settings fulfil many decision making functions. Systems range from 15 to 1500 devices and are used for access control, employee monitoring, stock control, perimeter protection and other highly personalised functions. Storage, video distribution and stability require surveillance planning and engineering from concept to hand-over.
Commercial
Commercial and Retail systems are ubiquitous in our world. Point of sale, Hi-End goods and Fuel station fore-courts traditionally all have CCTV. More businesses can make use of video technology with industry specific applications. Our offerings are expanding with heat-maps for customer traffic and POS triggers to help combat insider theft.
About
How It Works
CCTV systems have 4 main parts. The cameras themselves are the first component that everyone is familiar with.
The second part is the transmission system. This may be copper network cables, legacy coaxial cables, wireless transmission or wifi.
Part 3 is the recording and admin device. This is often called a NVR or DVR but may take many forms as a decoder, surveillance appliance or server. Your ‘device’may even be cloud based.
Lastly is the video distribution. This is as simple as a monitor on your DVR, a smartphone app or complex network distribution with customised views and admin rights.
